John Cena vs Kane Match Added To WWE Royal Rumble 2012

So far it is one of only three matches announced for the Royal Rumble card taking place January 29th.

John Cena vs Kane was officially announced for the forthcoming WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view. So far it is one of only three matches announced for the card with CM Punk defending his WWE title against Dolph Ziggler with John Laurinaitis as a special guest referee and the annual 30-man Royal Rumble match the others. A World Heavyweight Title match for the pay-per-view is likely to be announced on SmackDown, probably a triple threat match involving Daniel Bryan defending against Mark Henry and The Big Show. Already booked for tonight's WWE SmackDown tapings in Las Vegas is Daniel Bryan vs Mark Henry in a World Title match. Competitors announced for the Royal Rumble match so far are; 1. Wade Barrett 2. Sheamus 3. R-Truth 4. The Miz 5. Jinder Mahal 6. Santino Marella Last night's RAW kicked off with Mick Foley coming out to the ring to announce that he wanted to be a part of the 30-man Royal Rumble match and win the contest with Dolph Ziggler telling him he should go home rather than compete. John Laurinaitis declined Foley's request to be part of the Rumble but now they've mentioned it he is likely to be involved. As are Chris Jericho and Randy Orton, the two major contenders to win. Plus it was announced on WWE Superstars that all competitors involved in singles matches at the Rumble are eligible for the Rumble match meaning John Cena, Kane and Dolph Ziggler (presuming he loses to CM Punk in the title match) will also be involved. WWE Royal Rumble takes place January 29th from St. Louis, Missouri.
