John Cena WWE Return Could Be Earlier Than Expected

Details on when Cena could be back.

John Cena's WWE return could be earlier than expected. There's speculation at f4wonline that plans could have him returning on the December 13th TLC special. This would be in Cena's home state, Massachusetts, so on paper it does sound like the ideal place for him to make his comeback. The idea right now is that he'd face Alberto Del Rio in a rematch for the United States Championship. Originally, Cena's first date back was meant to be the December 26 house show at Madison Square Garden. That's his next advertised date, in a match with Sheamus. Interestingly, he's meant to be defending the US Title against the Irishman. Does that mean he's going to beat Del Rio and win the belt back? Only time will tell, but don't read too much into it. WWE change their mind often. Really, the company will only be getting Cena back a little bit quicker than his initial advertised return. However, it will make a difference if they promote him for TLC ahead of time. Furthermore, he'll presumably be on Raw the night after TLC, so that's at least something for WWE to be happy about. As for losing him in November, WWE have drafted in The Undertaker to make sure Survivor Series has enough star quality.
