John Cena WWE Return Match Revealed

You're not going to like this!

John Cena is scheduled to defend the United States title against Sheamus on the December 26 house show at Madison Square Garden. This will be Cena's first match after temporarily leaving WWE following this Sunday's Hell In A Cell show. Also announced for the show, is Kevin Owens versus Dean Ambrose with the Intercontinental title on the line. Cards are always subject to change, but they do sometimes reflect the feuds that are pencilled in. Ambrose and Owens sounds like fun, but Cena and Sheamus? That's a feud destined to die a boring death. It has been done before, and it is almost like WWE are trolling the fans by booking it. Notice as well, the Garden is advertising Cena to be defending his US title. That could just be a swerve, it could be updated at a later date, or maybe it is an indication that WWE are just going to leave the belt on Cena for the next two months. They did that with Brock Lesnar's WWE Title reign, so it isn't inconceivable that they'd allow Cena to stay champ when away from TV. The other thing that could be going on, is Sheamus is the challenger at Hell In A Cell and wins the belt. Cena then returns and feuds with him in December. As the advertising stands right now, a Cena Sheamus narrative is what WWE are going with.
