John Morrison Gets "Future Endeavored" From WWE By John Laurinaitis

WWE.com have posted a very strange video package that acknowledges the departure of John Morrison from the company, whose contract actually expires tomorrow (Wednesday) and hasn't as yet been renewed. You can view the video here of RAW Interim General Manager John Laurinaitis being interviewed backstage after last night's show where he 'future endeavours' Morrison. Here's the quote; "I truly wish you the best," he said. "Your contract was coming up in the next couple weeks anyway, and, looking at your win/loss record, I really wasn't going to sign you anyway. That being said, it's kind of a win/win for WWE and John Morrison. I hope you take some time to get your mind and body in order. Get well soon." Which is the WWE's way of further burying Morrison on his way out of the company, though it has to be said that the beatdown defeat he was given by The Miz wasn't at all the worst squashing of an exiting competitor we've seen in recent years. We certainly expected a lot, lot worse, such as Brodus Clay clean defeat within seconds but Morrison was given something somewhat better. Back to the video package, Laurinaitis claims The Miz won't be punished for his actions as their match was a "falls count anywhere" contest and he then smiles and gives a thumbs up to the camera. It almost feels like the WWE are making a storyline out of The Miz/Morrison but the WWE aren't that smart and as far as we are aware Morrison is 100% done with the company as of tomorrow.
