Lio Rush BANNED From WWE Main Roster Shows Due To Backstage Heat?

Two specific incidents could lead to Rush being blacklisted.

WWE

Last week saw Lio Rush subjected to fresh reports of backstage heat in WWE, with the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer suggesting that the 24-year-old's perceived overconfidence led to him rubbing his colleagues the wrong way backstage, prompting Rush to post a social media rebuttal.

A new report from Fightful has shed light on the situation, with their sources claiming that Lio will be "very lucky to be back on the main roster anytime soon, if ever."

Fightful's sources believe that WWE roster members wanted Rush removed from the locker-room for a while, with much of the frustration stemming from Lio's insistence on always having his wife present backstage, though there's no specific heat on her.

Two backstage incidents were particularly harmful. One saw Finn Balor attempt to give Lio some advice a few months ago, letting him know that Vince McMahon wouldn't be keen on his wife being present at rehearsals. Per the write-up, Rush "responded unfavourably."

Another incident prompted managerial intervention, with Rush reportedly telling several roster members that he was hoping to land a reality show for him and his wife.

Knowing this, it'll be interesting to see if Rush shows up on tonight's Raw. Perhaps he'll be restricted to 205 Live going forward.
