Mickie James Wants WWE Return To Face Paige And Charlotte

Former Women's & Divas Champion would be open to returning to WWE.

Mickie James was asked on The Roman Show this weekend about a possible return to WWE one day and she mentioned Paige and Charlotte as potential opponents. The interview took place at the Florida Supercon in Miami where Paige also appeared for a day. Mickie joked about seeing Paige and also wanting to face her in a match: €œI am going to take her out now. If you don€™t see her it€™s not my fault." James also had a lot of praise for the women of NXT, which led to her mentioning Charlotte.
"The girls have been killing it in NXT. Kudos to the girls of NXT for killing it. It€™s a tough one. They are all so good. I would like to take on Charlotte. That would be fun because I€™ve been friends with Ric Flair. He does nothing but brag about her. He is proud of her as he should be. That would be cool on both ends as a fan and as a performer to be able to go up against her and tear the house down. And then maybe get a pat on the back from Ric."
As a former five time WWE Women's Champion and one time Divas Champion, James is capable of having great matches with any woman in the business and a return to WWE would be awesome to see because she has a lot of credibility as a former top diva. Her WWE career ended in 2010 when she was released. After a three year run in TNA, she spent a week in October 2013 at the WWE Performance Center as a guest trainer.
James spoke about her goals when she got into the business: "I got into wrestling to be a WWE superstar that was my goal. I watched WWE as a child. I was a fan. That€™s were I wanted to be. I was fortunate and blessed to achieve that goal. I am grateful. But if I had the opportunity come back of course I would be back to kick their butts, easy competition. Just kidding.€ Following the birth of her son Donovan in September 2014, she returned to TNA Wrestling several months ago and will be on Impact in July as well. It's also expected that she'll be a part of Global Force Wrestling. Despite all that, it sounds like she definitely wants to return to a WWE ring one day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYdKDlp4uy8
