WWE are introducing new rules for their tag team division to reduce interference, according to an announcement made by Corey Graves on Monday Night Raw.

The revelation came following Braun Strowman's disqualification tag team loss on Monday alongside Kurt Angle to the team of Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre. The 'Monster Among Men' was DQ'd after attacking Corbin mid-match whilst he wasn't the legal man.

Corey Graves went on to clarify on commentary that tag team matches will now see the partners outside of the ring unable to keep entering illegally and interfere on multiple occasions. Partners will only be allowed to make a single save in the match and will then have to leave the ring immediately or face disqualification.

WWE have been promising a shake-up to tag team wrestling in recent weeks after it was revealed that The Revival had requested their release due to their disappointment in not only their own direction, but that of the entire division.

The doubles division has since seen numerous changes: with new talent such as Heavy Machinery being called up to the main roster, pushes for under-utilised teams, and these rule changes, perhaps as WWE's way of competing with AEW & ensuring their tag team talent isn't tempted by The Young Bucks et al.
