Nikki Bella Returning To WWE Soon?
Nikki is cleared for action.
Nikki Bella took to Twitter today to deliver an update on her recovery from major neck surgery that has kept her out of the ring since late October.
She revealed that she received good news from her doctor, and then posted a photo of the Performance Center. It's likely that she'll be headed there soon to work off ring-rust, and make sure she's ready to compete in again.
However, it's possible that she's playing coy, and could actually be Sasha Banks' mystery partner for Battleground. If not, it's still great that she'll be headed back to the company soon. Nikki has improved tremendously in the ring since her early days in WWE, and has been passionate about getting even better. While her sister has left the company, Nikki has not given any indication that she's about to retire as well. Though she did say she's going to be retiring her Rack Attack finisher.
With the roster split up, Raw and SmackDown both desperately need more women to bolster their ranks. Each brand only has half-a-dozen women wrestlers, which doesn't create much of a division. Each side could use Nikki, but it may be most likely she'll end up on SmackDown to stick with John Cena.
I'm not sure the wrestling world is ready for another break-up right now.
