Nikki Bella is undergoing neck surgery this Wednesday, which is set to rule her out of action for the next six months. In cases like this, it could even be considered a career ender if recovery doesn't go well. She told E! that her injury is a badly herniated disc, which is proving to be very difficult for her to deal with. "We're gonna pray that the doctors can get the piece behind my vertebrae with just a bone fusion," she said. The pain had reportedly been bad since last July, but she only looked into it in October. After an MRI confirmed the injury, she was officially put out action, and will now get the surgery in an attempt to resolve the issue. If all goes well, she could potentially be back in the ring around SummerSlam. It is a real shame for Nikki, as she had only just started to click as an in-ring performer. Many of her final matches ended up being good, and she actually carried Charlotte in their feud. Her character work was also good, and she was a major part of Raw. Likewise, she was the face of Total Divas, and will likely continue in that spot with the story of her injury recovery.
