It's hard to criticize how New Japan books their heavyweight singles feuds. Year in and year out, their roster of main eventers keep raising the bar for main event-calibre matches. However, what cannot be denied is the fact that New Japan treats their Junior Heavyweight tag division how I treat my flossing regime (i.e any efforts shown toward it reflects how little you think of it, and whatever you do is too little too late in terms of making a positive difference).

Suzuki-gun (Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desperado) are going to defend their Jr. Tag Team titles at Wrestle Kingdom. Their opponents are the same ones they met at November's Power Struggle: Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH) and Los Ingobernables de Japon (Bushi & Shingo Takagi). This matchup happened because Roppongi (the winners of the Tag Tournament) pinned Suzuki-gun (the tag champions), but didn't pin Bushi or Takagi. Thus, a straight-up rematch of this 3-way from months prior is somehow justified.

This sort of cavalier attitude in booking when it comes to NJPW's booking for the Jr. Tag division creates the same effect RE: the fans' attitude toward it. This match should be fine, but really, who gives a damn?
