NXT Kids: WWE Tapes New Children Centered Show

A kids-themed NXT show is likely coming to the WWE Network.

It's been noted in the past that WWE has been looking at developing a "kids themed" show to possibly air on the WWE Network in the future. They even taped a pilot episode at one point. On Thursday evening (January 7th), the plans were put into motion as the company taped the first edition of a new show called NXT Kids prior to the NXT television tapings. The show was taped at Full Sail University in Florida, and according to reports from the tapings, Corey Graves called the matches alongside two children. Two matches were taped for the show, and both of the matches involved main roster talent (which makes the title of the show questionable). The matches taped were: Becky Lynch vs. Natalya and The Big Show vs. Heath Slater. Following the main event, the little girl who is often filmed alongside Bayley her super-fan, Izzy) interviewed Big Show for the cameras. Another aspect of the show that was different is that all wrestlers hugged following their matches (yes, really). It's interesting that WWE chose to have four main roster talents wrestle in a show branded as NXT Kids. In the end, nothing about the show was really today's NXT outside of Corey Graves and the venue the show was taped at. What do you think? Is this a show that you would introduce your kids to on the WWE Network? Would you actually watch this show yourself, or do you have criticism about the merits of this new show?
