After last night's episode of NXT went off the air, Tommaso Ciampa told Full Sail that the black and gold's senior referee Jessika Carr is moving over to SmackDown.

A "Thank you, Jess" chant soon broke out, cheerleaded by Ciampa, before NXT honcho Triple H emerged to give the departing official a round of applause.

An emotional Carr took the mic, thanking her fellow striped enforcers, before saying she hopes her progression can inspire more women to achieve what they want.

The reasons behind Carr's move to SmackDown are not know at present, nor when she is scheduled to arbitrate on the blue brand - though presumably, it'll be next Friday.

After the announcement, the ref took to Twitter with a heartfelt post, simple stating: "Surreal. Incredible. Thankful. My family. My heart! Thank you."
