A new Dangerous Alliance for 2018?

Paul Heyman could be set to lead a new heel faction upon returning to WWE Raw, according to Joe Peisich of Barnburner's Fired Up podcast.

There's no word on when we'll actually see 'The Advocate' again, but Peisich states that when he does re-emerge, there is "talk within WWE of having [him] run a stable."

As far as potential members go, both Ronda Rousey and Kevin Owens were mentioned by name. Heyman has been linked with both over the past few weeks, though aligning with 'Rowdy' would require a significant reconfiguration of her current direction, as the Raw Women's Champion is preoccupied as a babyface.

Having "quit" WWE on the 27 August episode of Raw, Owens returned last week. He attacked Bobby Lashley, then aided rival Braun Strowman in the show-closing segment, which made for another confusing twist for the former Universal Champion, whose recent direction has left much to be desired.

Heyman hasn't been seen since Lesnar lost the Universal Title to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. With Brock expected to fight for the UFC before appearing for WWE again, Paul's status is currently in limbo, though leading a new heel stable would be a fresh new direction.
