http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1CyGiX1TtQ It's a widely accepted belief that Misawa should have passed the torch to Kobashi long before this, and that they had one or two better matches during their AJPW tenure when they were at their physical peaks, but none of those other matches had the emotional connection that this does. This was the match they should have had in 1999 and despite the fact both guys were past their prime at this point they still worked an excellent 'changing of the guard' type match, featuring some absolutely insane spots and one of the greatest finish sprints you'll see. Both men really left it all out there in the ring on this night.
