Bianca Belair has cited "self-care" as the reason behind her current absence from WWE television.

Speaking with Metro, the multi-time Women's Champion stated that she is excited about her future at the moment, noting that she and husband Montez Ford currently have a couple of non-wrestling projects in the works as well.

Said Belair:-

"Right now, it was just some self-care. We did some things with us personally that I’m so excited about, it has to do with the future... I’m trying to write a children’s book as well."

Bianca added that her and Ford's upcoming reality show, The Crawfords, will air on Hulu sometime towards the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024.

WWE wrote Belair off television in August, with reports suggesting that her absence could stretch as long as three months. Fightful reported that the situation was planned and factored into WWE creatively. The company did this by having Damage CTRL jump Bianca on the 18 August episode of SmackDown, reinjuring a previously problematic knee (in kayfabe) in the process.

A rough date is yet to be pinpointed for Bianca Belair's return to WWE.
