REAL Reason For Ivar's WWE Raw Absence
More details on why Ivar was missing from last night's WWE Raw.
While last night's WWE Raw saw red brand General Manager Adam Pearce explaing that Ivar wasn't medically cleared to compete in his advertised match against Andrade, there's now an update on the Viking Raiders man.
As per Fightful Select, Ivar is said to be "fine". When asking about the big man's current status, the outlet was told Ivar's expected to back between the ropes in "quick fashion", although no specific reason was given for his absence from Raw. Either way, it sounds like there's nothing to worry about for fans of the ever-impressive former Raw Tag Team Champion.
In Ivar's place, it would be Imperium's Giovanni Vinci taking on Andrade in a fun, crisp, seven-minute TV bout, with El Idolo hitting his beautiful faint kick-to-spinning discus elbow and nailing the Message for the 1-2-3. This marks Andrade's third match back under the WWE umbrella, with him previously having been a part of the men's Royal Rumble and then scoring a quick win over Apollo Crews at the start of this month.
