Report: Lio Rush Has "Disappeared" From WWE

'The Man of the Hour' won't be returning anytime soon.

2019 has been extremely tumultuous for Lio Rush, who'd settled into a nice little role as Bobby Lashley's loudmouth manager to go with his budding in-ring career on 205 Live, only to find himself removed from television amidst talk of backstage heat in April and May.

An explosive interview with Fightful saw Rush allege mistreatment from WWE, before PW Insider reported that the 24-year-old turned down a new five-year deal with a figure in the region of $300,000 per annum. In June, PW Insider also claimed that Rush might be heading back to NXT.

Now, it looks like he is being scrubbed from memory entirely.

Per Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the 'Man Of The Hour' has effectively "disappeared," with his sources telling him that "nobody talks about [Rush]."

Although he's still under WWE contract, Lio has removed all references to the promotion from his social media accounts and added an address that other promoters can use to contact him for dates, though he'll obviously need to get released before that can happen. At this stage, he's getting the same treatment as Sasha Banks and Luke Harper. It's hard to see WWE reneging on that stance.
