Report: Vince McMahon FINALLY Admits WWE Raw Need To Change

It looks like Vince and Paul Heyman are reading from the same playbook.

WWE Monday Night Raw is an odd place at the moment, with last week's Paul Heyman-inspired changes seemingly undone on yesterday's show, which showed no sign of the harder, edgier elements the former ECW mastermind had brought to the table.

It was a disappointing regression for the flagship show, and one that suggests the new Executive Director's authority may not be as hefty as assumed. Fortunately, this doesn't seem to be the case.

Fightful are reporting that Heyman and McMahon are very much on the same page. Per their story, Paul has told a number of Raw writers that Vince is finally "coming to grips with the fact" that the show needs to be fixed, leading to an increased sense of optimism that genuine, palpable change is actually on the way.

McMahon's erratic personality means that while this report sounds encouraging, it'd be foolish to invest too much hope at the moment. Vince changes his mind on a whim all the time. The increased sense of self-awareness from a man who rarely exhibits that trait is encouraging to hear about, but how long will it last?

We'll find out more over the coming weeks of programming.
