Ric Flair May Replace Hulk Hogan On WWE Tough Enough
With Hogan out, Flair could step in.
Since Hulk Hogan has been fired by WWE, they need somebody to replace him on Tough Enough. According to PWInsider, the early word is that WWE may call upon their only two-time Hall of Famer, Ric Flair. The decision will be made by Vince McMahon and Executive Producer Kevin Dunn, who have been overseeing Tough Enough from the star. Internally, it's considered a top priority within the company. The show hasn't had a lot of success in terms of the ratings, but it's still very important and they are not going to put just anybody into that role without thinking it through. Hogan played an integral role in Tough Enough as one of the judges (along with Daniel Bryan and Paige). In the last ten minutes of the show, it's up to them to each nominate a competitor to be eliminated and then the viewers at home get to vote on it. Hogan did very well in the role because he wasn't afraid to criticize people while also praising them when they did a good job, like he did to Mada on this week's episode. Flair is signed to a Legends deal, just like Hogan was. As one of the greatest of all-time, he's a natural choice for the role. His 16 World Titles are considered a record, even though John Cena might beat him one day since he's currently at 15 World Titles. Flair has also been considered as Hogan's replacement for WWE's tour of Australia in August, where he was set to act as General Manager at live events. WWE should make an official announcement soon.
