Ric Flair Set For WWE Raw Tonight?
Hall of Famer to influence upcoming Charlotte-Bayley match?
With the go-home Raw for WWE Fastlane scheduled for tonight, PWInsider is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is currently in Green Bay, Wisconsin and is slated to appear on the broadcast.
Logic would dictate that Flair's involvement in the show will revolve around his daughter's feud with Raw Women's Champion Bayley. Bayley captured her first main roster Women's Championship two weeks ago when she defeated Charlotte Flair on Raw, but the ex-champion has invoked her rematch clause and will be challenging for the title at Fastlane. Given that Charlotte is undefeated in singles Pay-Per-View matches, many consider her the favorite to win that bout, capturing her fifth Raw Women's Championship. Adding that to her NXT Women's Championship and her Divas' Championship, she looks to be making quick progress on her way to tying her father's title record.
Flair formerly served as his daughter's manager and second, often interfering on her behalf to give her victories (most notably at WrestleMania 32, where he prevented Sasha Banks from breaking Charlotte's Figure 8 on Becky Lynch). However, last May, Charlotte turned on her father and fired him. In November, the elder Flair appeared on Raw to help Banks celebrate her title win over Charlotte.
