Ronda Rousey Wants To Be WWE Divas Champion?

UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and noted wrestling fan Ronda Rousey recently took part in a session with the media as promotion for UFC 193. During the conference, Rousey spoke of her love for professional wrestling and future goals to possibly pursue a career with WWE. Courtesy of FOX Sports, Rousey said:

"What I'd really like to do and I don't know if I'll have the time and I just want to do so many things, but I want to be remembered as one of the greatest fighters of all time at any sport." "What I would love to do, I got an Olympic medal, I would want to retire from MMA as one of the greatest of all time, I would love to have the chance to be the boxing world champion, and I would love to have the chance to be a jiu-jitsu world champion. I'd love to have the chance to be the Divas world champion and just be the best of everything at one point," "How that is possible to do, I'm going to have to figure that out but I am trying to figure that out. I think if anybody's capable, I think that I am. I think it's just a matter of prioritizing and timing and figuring out when I can do which, when. I'm figuring it out. I'd love to, but it's a process."

Charlotte responded on Twitter. https://twitter.com/MsCharlotteWWE/status/659175749979516928 Rousey has frequently appeared at wrestling events over the years. Most notably, she took part in an angle with The Rock, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 31 earlier this year in her home state of California. There had been rumors earlier this year about a possible match between Rousey and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania sometime in the future, but so far nothing has been worked out between Rousey and WWE. Rousey will be filming a remake of the 1980s movie Roadhouse in Indonesia during March and April next year, so an appearance WrestleMania 32 is very unlikely.
