Scarlett Bordeaux has requested her release from IMPACT Wrestling.

PWInsider notes that Bordeaux's current IMPACT Wrestling contract expires this summer and that she has no intention of signing an extension.

Bordeaux had been a regular on IMPACT TV after joining the promotion in late 2018. Most recently she had been involved in program with Disco Inferno, working under the name "Smokeshow" and is still expected to fulfil dates before her contract expires.

Meanwhile, PWInsider also notes that IMPACT Wrestling are "scrambling" to sign Jordynne Grace. Although Grace started working for the promotion in October and was swiftly offered a two-year deal, Grace never actually signed or return the physical contract, so the deal was never finalised. Grace has been able to take offers from other companies and with interest in her from elsewhere, IMPACT are eager for her to belatedly sign and commit her future.

These reports come just days after Killer Kross was denied his IMPACT release over a pay dispute. PWInsider notes that Kross asked for a guaranteed six-figure contract after feeling he had become a major player in the company and with WWE and AEW offering many talents big deals, felt it was a fair market value for his services. IMPACT did offer Kross a deal but it was below the 33-year old's personal valuation and he asked to be released, which IMPACT has not granted.
