Scott Hall Domestic Violence Charges Dropped
Hall was arrested on April 6th after he allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by the throat in a drunken state and dragged her out of the car.
TMZ.com has reported that the criminal charges recent filed against Scott Hall for domestic violence have been dropped. Hall was arrested on April 6th after he allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by the throat in a drunken state and dragged her out of the car. Scott's attorney told TMZ that any charges that were filed against Scott were dismissed and/or rejected by the prosecutor due to insufficient evidence. Scott Hall's girlfriend has refused to press charges and Scott himself has continually denied the allegations. While Hall has spent many years battling his demons, it was last year at an independent event that showed Hall in one of his darkest hours. Arriving at the show an incoherent mess, Hall was unable to walk completely unaided and was slurring his words. Footage of Hall at the event immediately drew anger against the promoter who allowed him to go out in the condition that he was in, although Top Rope Promotions issued a statement that Scott Hall had appeared at the event demanding fees and threatening staff, consistently asking when he would be going on to perform. The footage upset many of Hall's close friends and wrestling fans, who voiced their feelings by Twitter and via other media outlets. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xl6ZLhawpRA Even having entered WWE sponsored rehab in 2010 and having a pace maker fitted later, Scott Hall is yet to change his ways. Far removed from the man he was in the late 90's both fans and friends hope that he can eventually, some day overcome these demons.
