Seth Rollins Vs. John Cena Likely For WWE SummerSlam

Champion vs. Champion was set up on Raw.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins may be in a match against WWE United States Champion John Cena based on their promo face-off that took place on Raw. The match wasn't officially announced because WWE wanted to keep the focus on Undertaker vs. Lesnar, but it's expected to take place at SummerSlam on August 23 in Brooklyn.

Rollins was in the ring bragging about how he was still the WWE Champion after Battleground when Cena showed up. Cena told Rollins that they both won their titles at WrestleMania, but that Cena is a respectable champion that has successfully defended it against comers while Rollins only finds ways to escape with the gold. The segment was done in a way where Rollins came off as not wanting to have to deal with Cena because he wanted to leave the ring so Cena could have one of his US Open challenges. They teased a physical confrontation only for Rollins to leave the ring like the crafty heel champion that he is.
Their last feud took place in the last few months of 2014 when Rollins was the Money in the Bank holder and Cena beat him in a Tables match at TLC last December. They were also part of the fantastic triple threat match with Lesnar at the Royal Rumble earlier this year, which many fans are calling the WWE Match of the Year so far. There's five weeks to go until SummerSlam, so there's plenty of time to build the match. Cena could lose the US Title before then since he defends it so much, but if he doesn't then it would be a Champion vs. Champion match that is very worthy of being at a major show like SummerSlam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbt9_wB3pa4
