Pro Wrestling Guerrilla is currently going through the process of announcing the field for its upcoming Battle Of Los Angeles tournament, doing so the way it always does: by confirming one new name via social media drip-feed each day.

Nine participants have been announced for the two-day event thus far. Included in that number are three wrestlers contracted to AEW, two IMPACT Wrestling regulars, a recent ROH World Champion, and a group of indie favourites and free agent.

Daniel Garcia, Lio Rush, and Lee Moriarty comprise the AEW contingent. From IMPACT, Black Taurus and Jonah Rock (the former Bronson Reed) will participate.

Also announced are current PWG World Champion Bandido (who vacated his ROH belt last week), IWTV Independent Wrestling World Champion Alex Shelley, fast-rising indie star Kevin Blackwood, and Jack Cartwheel, who has become a PWG regular since the promotion restarted in August.

Battle of Los Angeles 2022 takes place in Los Angeles, California's Globe Theater on 29 and 30 January. This will be the first time PWG has held its signature tournament since 2019, having decided against operating through the COVID-19 pandemic for a prolonged stretch of 2020 and 2021.
