Several WWE, NXT Wrestlers Released

Mix of superstars, trainees among latest round of cuts from the company.

Not even a month removed from the most financially successful weekend in WWE's history, the company continued trimming its roster, releasing several wrestlers on Friday.

Fightful Select confirmed nine superstars let go from their contracts, most of whom had never made an appearance on television.

The most recognizable name on the list has to be Valentina Feroz, who competed on NXT for the past three years, most notably alongside tag team partner Yulisa Leon, who was released last fall. Feroz last wrestled on NXT Level Up in December 2023.

Trey Bearhill was scheduled to compete in NXT's Men's Breakout Tournament last fall, but he was attacked by Lexis King, who replaced Bearhill. He would have two matches on NXT in January, losing to Dijak and King.

Four of the releases -- Darrell Mason, Emma Diaz, Julian Baldi and Keyshawn Leflore -- appeared on WWE: Next Gen, a reality show on Roku, which launched the eight-episode series on April 1.

The others -- Vlad Pavlenko, Ezekiel Balogun and Kiyah Saint -- never made it to the main show, with Saint competing on Level Up a few times.

The releases come a couple weeks after WWE let go several main roster superstars, including Indus Sher, Jinder Mahal, Xia Li and Cameron Grimes. NXT wrestlers Von Wagner and Xyon Quinn (who was seemingly in limbo between developmental and the main roster) also were released last month.
