Shawn Michaels Joining WWE NXT Full Time?

Will HBK be the final step to the main roster?

Shawn Michaels hasn't been with the WWE in a full-time capacity in years, but PWInsider has reported that he may be returning to take over the Finishing Class in developmental.

He was expected to replace Terry Taylor, who is the current teacher, but it's not a done deal yet. The biggest issue seems to be Michaels needing to relocate his family from Texas to Florida. For a man that loves hunting (to the point that he hosts his own TV show on hunting), that could be a bit of a drastic move.

HBK has had a couple of guest stints as a trainer at the Performance Center in the past, and he used to have his own wrestling school with the Texas Wrestling Academy. There he helped train the likes of Brian Kendrick, Paul London, Lance Cade and Daniel Bryan. There are probably few people on the planet who are better at getting someone ready for the big leagues than Michaels.

We should know soon if The Showstopper and WWE are able to come to some sort of a deal. Hopefully he does return in some capacity, as the legend has a lot of knowledge to pass on to future generations.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
