Shocking WWE Return And Another Call-Up On SmackDown Live This Week
The blue brand got shaken up too!
Last night's SmackDown Live saw the shocking return of Sanity and the confirmation that Mustafa Ali has been called up to the main roster.
The team of Sanity (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, and Killian Dain) made a statement to the rest of the blue brand's tag team division after interfering in the match between The Usos and Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows.
The Club, who themselves were appearing on TV for the first time since August, appeared to be heading for defeat before Jimmy Uso was distracted by The Bar coming out.
However, before Cesaro & Sheamus could get involved, Sanity struck. Laying out both teams before mocking The Bar as they passed them on the ramp.
In other news, the main event of SmackDown Live saw the team of AJ Styles & Mustafa Ali defeat Daniel Bryan & Andrade Cien Almas, with Ali pinning the WWE Champion after it was confirmed that he has made the transition from 205 Live to the main roster.
The move was announced prior to the match by Corey Graves on commentary, after Ali impressed many in the back with his SmackDown debut against Bryan last week.
It'll be interesting to see how Ali is used going forward, and whether more Cruiserweight stars will be making the step up as part of WWE's ongoing shake-up.
