Stephanie McMahon Makes $2.65 Million In WWE Stock Sale

Maybe one day she really will be a billion dollar princess.

Stephanie McMahon sold 140,000 shares of WWE stock on Tuesday and Wednesday for around $2.65 million, Dave Meltzer is reporting at f4wonline. In truth, that's just a drop in the ocean for her. She regularly trades her WWE stock, and it isn't a sign of any thing other than making a bit of money. WWE stock is currently doing relatively good, with a close of 19.44 on September 3rd. When you consider it was down to around ten dollars in January 2015, now is a fairly good time to sell some stock off. However, it is still some way off the 30.94 price it was in March 2014. That was back when investors thought the WWE Network was going to be this revolutionary next big thing, and when they thought Vince McMahon was going to double television rights fees. The current price is down to renewed optimism about the Network. Investors are seeing the potential again, and they are impressed with the efforts WWE have made this year. However, Wall Street lacks the knowledge of being wrestling insiders. They still believe that a four million subscriber rate can be achieved, and that's just very unlikely. It isn't known what Stephanie will be doing with that $2.65 million. Maybe she'll build a new wing of her house, the possibilities are endless when you're a multi millionaire. Perhaps she's even planning on donating it to Connor's Cure.
