Steve Austin WWE Network Podcast Future Guests Revealed

Austin's podcast goes monthly with big name guests coming soon.

The return of the Steve Austin podcast on WWE Network was great news on Sunday. His next live podcast will be with Paul Heyman. According to a press release issued by WWE today, Austin's podcast will be a monthly show on WWE Network. It was also noted that The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan and Sting will be future guests. Getting a chance to hear one of the best wrestlers ever like Austin sitting down with other legends is going to be the kind of compelling programming that will keep people tuning into WWE Network. The interview with The Undertaker will be particularly compelling just because we rarely see Undertaker do interviews like that. With a guy like Austin, we'll be able to gets some incredible insight into one of WWE's most unique performers ever. Austin talking to Sting will be really cool. They have a history from over 20 years ago in WCW, so they could talk about things from that era. Austin could also ask him point blank why he didn't come to WWE in 2001 when they could have made huge money together. Does Sting regret it? He made money elsewhere, but nothing compares to performing at a WrestleMania. When Hulk Hogan talks, he's a bit of a mixed bag. Sometimes he lies about stories so much that it's really obvious and it makes you want to stop listening to him. However, you can't deny his place as arguably the biggest name in wrestling history. There is one other big name that needs to be on an Austin podcast at some point: The Rock. They had such a great rivalry in WWE and were the key guys in WWE's successful Attitude Era, so it would be a lot of fun to see them "shoot the s**t" as Austin likes to say because it would probably be the most highest rated non-PPV show in WWE Network history. Austin interviewing some of the biggest names in wrestling history is exactly the kind of programming that hardcore WWE fans want to see. Things like Jerry Springer talking over older clips isn't that exciting. This is.
