Sting Expected To Be On WWE Raw Tonight

Will WWE let Sting speak or more pointing at the sign? Find out on Raw.

Sting is set to appear live on Monday night Raw tonight in Des Moines, Iowa according to a report from PWInsider. He hasn't been advertised for the show, but with the news leaking out on Monday morning it's something that WWE probably likes because it might get the internet wrestling community a little more excited about tonight's Raw. The build up for Sting's WrestleMania match against Triple H has been very average. The last time he appeared on WWE TV in person was at the Fastlane PPV on February 22 and he didn't say a word. He just pointed at the WrestleMania sign, which led to Triple H agreeing to face him at WrestleMania. Over the past few weeks, with no Sting in sight WWE has been using the likes of Ric Flair and Booker T talk about how great Sting is as a way to get Triple H to try to continue the storyline. Last week on Raw, WWE aired a video promo that was said to be from "Sting's point of view" with a modified voiceover that made him sound really weird. They could have used his real voice, but instead they used some alteration and it left fans confused while wondering why WWE is shying away from letting the man speak. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZUMQd3m9gM Part of the reason that WWE probably doesn't want Sting talking is because they want that dark aura about him to exist and for him to be mysterious. However, it would really help the angle if he had a live microphone in his hand talking about how much he wants to beat Triple H. They need to let him show some passion in his voice and try to sell us on how much he wants to beat Triple H. Let Sting talk about how he's done everything there is to do in the business except wrestle at WrestleMania. He should say he's not just there to wrestle, he's there to win for everybody that wants to shut Triple H up. The crowd will love it. Just let the man talk. With no Brock Lesnar expected at Raw (he is expected to be there next week) and The Undertaker likely staying away until WrestleMania itself (that's been the plan), expect a lot of focus on Triple H vs. Sting tonight. The feud needs it. It's also likely that Randy Orton's match with Seth Rollins becomes official because last week on Raw Orton attacked Rollins and the match isn't on the card yet, but it will be. Hopefully Raw is a great show tonight. WWE certainly needs it with WrestleMania less than two weeks away.
