Stone Cold Steve Austin To Host WWE 2K15 Roster Reveal

The Rattlesnake will be kicking ass and taking names on August 16th.

The WWE video game series is making its first foray into next-gen gaming consoles, and hoping to make a big splash in the gaming industry after a big move to 2K Sports last year. With no Summerslam Axxess this year, the WWE scheduled its WWE 2K15 roster reveal for August 16 at Club Nokia LA, with none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin hosting. In addition to the WWE Hall of Famer Austin, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Cesaro, Sheamus, and Hulk Hogan will also be appearing. 2K has worked diligently to prepare for next-gen gaming consoles when preparing this game, as they've even brought in a ring crew member to oversee motion capture for the game. 2K Sports was hoping that in doing so it would help avoid unnatural motions. In addition, 2K had Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole record nearly 35 hours of commentary, with much of it recorded together. Wrestling games have been criticized in the past for canned commentary, and bugs that go along with it. Thus far the WWE 2K15 roster includes Shawn Michaels, Darren Young, Bray Waytt, Cesaro, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Roman Reigns, and multiple versions of Sting, who can be seen in a special trailer for the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwqEwEsArqo WWE 2K15 will be released in North America on October 28, with the European release following on October 31, and will be available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One
