Taya became the longest-reigning Impact Knockouts Champion ever last year, with her 377 days on top beating Taryn Terrell's old record of 279. She dropped the strap to Jordynne Grace at Impact's latest set of tapings in Mexico City, though the match is yet to hit the airwaves, with said tapings also establishing her as Tessa Blanchard's first Impact World Championship challenger.
Valkyrie, 36, rose to prominence during her time in Lucha Underground before transitioning to Impact in 2017. She also has considerable experience in AAA and on the Mexican indies, and would make a solid addition to WWE's talent pool.
