The Real Reason Shawn Michaels Shaved His Head
He went bald at Crown Jewel for a reason...
Shawn Michaels has revealed the real reason that he shaved his head was for a prior movie role, but that he stayed bald for WWE's Crown Jewel pay-per-view so that his chrome dome would match Triple H's.
HBK admitted this on a recent episode of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness, whilst announcing that he rather likes being bald, and so does his wife. Michaels said:-
"Before this storyline started...I did this independent movie in Texas where I played a younger version with my hair and then I played an older version of me that got sick and everything else, so that's why I ended up shaving it for the movie. Then I get called in to do this thing, and I thought, 'Do you know what? Hunter has got his head bald. I'm just going to go ahead and leave it that way."
He goes on to admit that he was "thinning" up top anyway, and thought it was better to just chop it all off, especially as it makes it easier to manage.
Fans were shocked when a bump on Monday Night RAW in the lead-up to Crown Jewel revealed HBK's new hairstyle (or lack of it), and whilst it's taken some getting used to, most fans agree it's better than the alternative.
