The Rock 'N' Roll Express Will Be At 'Ric Flair's Last Match', BUT...

Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton had originally been linked to Ric Flair's final wrestling match.

The card for Starrcast's upcoming 'Jim Crockett Promotions Presents: Ric Flair's Last Match' event continues to come together without word of what's in store for the show's subject.

The legendary Rock 'N' Roll Express joined the lineup on Wednesday. Although Ricky Morton is the only member of the original tandem wrestling, teaming with son Kerry, the duo will be managed by Robert Gibson. Their opponents are an Arn Anderson-managed pairing of Brian Pillman Jr. and Brock Anderson representing their fathers in The Four Horsemen.

The Rock 'N' Roll Express' addition to the card is notable, as RNR and an unnamed partner vs. Flair and AEW's FTR had been rumoured for Ric's last match. Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat, who may or may not have been that partner, was reported to have turned down the opportunity to compete soon after, later confirming it himself.

Jim Crockett Promotions Presents: Ric Flair's Last Match takes place at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on 31 July 2022. This latest addition brings it up to eight announced matches, with stars from AEW, ROH, NJPW, IMPACT Wrestling, and more all present.

But no Flair. The world awaits his announcement.
