The Undertaker To Return At WWE Raw's 1,000th Episode

WWE officials have held talks with The Undertaker about making an appearance at the special 1,000th celebratory episode of Raw on July 23rd.

WWE officials have held talks with The Undertaker about making an appearance at the special 1,000th celebratory episode of Raw on July 23rd. Raw will permanently expand to three-hour shows beginning at the 1,000th episode in a bid to boost ratings and WWE are looking to pack the card with as much big name talent and former stars as possible to kick-off the new format with a huge rating. F4WOnline.com reports that Vince McMahon is treating the episode as a pay-per-view quality event and will pack the card as much as he can. The entire WWE roster will be on hand for the show and McMahon hopes to have segments where new talent can be introduced. If The Undertaker does agree to make an appearance at the event, we can expect it to be advertised and promoted weeks in advance as WWE see more upside in people tuning in specifically to see The Undertaker than having it as a surprise for those who were already watching the show anyway. The Undertaker has not appeared in the WWE since his victory over Triple H in their classic Hell in a Cell rematch at WrestleMania 28 on April 1st.
