Last night's WWE Raw after WrestleMania 37 served up a surprise in the form of The Viking Raiders, who returned to the ring as a tag team for the first time since September 2020.

Former Hurt Business members Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin were served up as the Raiders' opponent in the night's second match. It took the Vikings less than six minutes to put them away, hitting the Viking Experience on Alexander for the victory.

Ivar had been out of action since suffering what was described as a serious cervical injury on 7 September 2020. Appropriately, the duo teamed with Ricochet and Apollo Crews to face the whole Hurt Business that night, including Bobby Lashley and MVP.

Surgery followed for Ivar, who faced a lengthy rehabilitation period. He actually returned to WWE screens at WrestleMania 37, where, alongside Erik (and dozens of other roster members), he was part of night one's opening segment, standing in his gear.

Erik appeared only sporadically in Ivar's absence, working primarily in multi-man clashes and on Main Event. He returned for the first time since November as part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on last week's SmackDown.
