TNA Already Making Final Deletion 2

Will 'Delete or Decay' recapture the original's "magic"?

Apparently Final Deletion wasn't the final deletion after all.

PWInsder has reported that new footage for the sequel, which will be titled "Delete or Decay" has already been recorded at Matt Hardy's property in North Carolina, just like the original was. This time around, the match will be a tag bout featuring Matt and Jeff Hardy battling Crazzy Steve and Abyss of Decay.

The episode of Impact that aired the Final Deletion match was the most watched one on Pop TV by nearly 40,000 viewers. The social media buzz that the masterpiece, or outright disaster (depending on one's opinion), generated was also incredibly strong for TNA, so a sequel seemed inevitable. It's also being reported that the budget for this round will be greatly increased, so you can only imagine what The Hardy brothers and director Jeremy Borash have come up with.

Will there be multiple dilapidated boats? Even more fireworks? Perhaps Senor Benjamin is simply demanding more money to appear again.

Hopefully Delete or Decay will continue the Hardy's entertaining angle, and they don't run this thing into the ground. It's a fine line the company is walking with this absolute weirdness, but it's certainly worth the chance to bring in more viewers.

No date has been set yet for when the match will air.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
