TNA And ROH Ratings Not Improving

Television ratings aren't improving for TNA and ROH either.

The television ratings are in for Destination America's Wednesday night professional wrestling lineup, and the results have to be seen as negative for both Ring Of Honor Wrestling and TNA Impact Wrestling. The first-run episode of Impact Wrestling that aired at 9:00pm Eastern garnered 264,000 viewers. The replay of the show, which was broadcast at 12:00am Eastern, drew an additional 63,000 viewers. When you combine both airings of the show, TNA drew a total of 327,000 viewers this week. This is actually identical to the total amount of viewers Impact drew last week. While on the surface that might seem like a positive with TNA currently airing taped matches from the past (they haven't taped any new episodes of Impact in several weeks), it's actually quite the opposite. This week's number is tied for the company's third lowest viewership since moving to Destination America. Ring of Honor Wrestling, which aired at 11:00 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday night, drew 132,000 viewers. This figure represents a drop from last week's show, which achieved 174,000 viewers. Impact this week featured an airing of the EC3 vs. Matt Hardy vs. Drew Galloway match from Bound For Glory 2015, a match that TNA asked viewers to pay for on PPV just a couple of weeks ago. The show also featured matches from their on-going TNA World Title Series, headlined by Lashley vs. EC3. ROH Wrestling was main evented by Jay Briscoe taking on Adam Cole.
