TNA Files Lawsuit Against Scott Steiner
Steiner, who was making $2,500 per PPV, signed a contract in 2010 agreeing not to speak negatively about the company or any of its employees, not even on Twitter.
TNA Impact Wrestling has at last taken legal action against Scott Steiner, a former employee and founder member of the notorious Main Event Mafia after months of "disparaging remarks" by Steiner on his Twitter account - @scottsteiner. Big Poppa Pump's rants against TNA began some months ago when he was allegedly sent home from a taping as creative had nothing for him. The majority of his tweets have been aimed at Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff but have extended to other members of the roster and back office too. The Nasville City News Paper is reporting that TNA are claiming Steiner, who was making $2,500 per PPV, signed a contract in 2010 agreeing not to speak negatively about the company or any of its employees, not even on Twitter. A court date has not yet been awarded after the company dragged its feet somewhat over requesting an injunction. The wrestler known as the Big Booty Daddy is notoriously outspoken, but has yet to break his silence. The case continues.
