Triple H To Defend WWE Title At March To WrestleMania?

It looks like the champ might be in action earlier that we thought.

If we are to trust the people in charge of WWE.com, it appears that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H will be defending his belt earlier than originally thought. It has been reported previously that Triple H will be in action at the big WWE house show in Madison Square Garden on March 25th, just over a week before WrestleMania 32. At that event, which is being advertised as "Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night," Hunter will team with Sheamus to take on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. However, an announcement on WWE.com indicates that Triple H might actually be defending his title on the WWE Network special "March To WrestleMania" on March 12th. That show, which takes place live from Toronto, would be Triple H's first in-ring action since winning the title last month at the Royal Rumble. An announcement promoting the show was posted on WWE.com that advertised Triple H as an active competitor for the Toronto show, also indicating that he would be defending his belt. Once word got around the internet that the announcement was out there, it was quickly pulled from the website. However, we have the original text that was published on WWE's website. It read:
The Road to WrestleMania is heating up, but on March 12, an event will take place on WWE Network that could completely alter the landscape of The Show of Shows. "WWE March to WrestleMania," LIVE at 8pm ET/5pm PT. Just three weeks shy of WrestleMania, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H will defend his illustrious prize for the first time since capturing it at the Royal Rumble. Plus Brock Lesnar, Bray Wyatt, WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, Sheamus, King Barrett and many more of your favorite WWE Superstars will be scheduled for action.
As always, WWE live event cards are subject to change, and it is certainly possible that Triple H will not wrestle at the show. However, the fact that this was posted on WWE's own official website would seem to indicate that plans are in place for him to enter the ring in Toronto. Here is a screenshot of the announcement that was posted and later pulled:
A match at the event certainly wouldn't be a bad idea, as it would allow Hunter a chance to get in front of a live audience and have a tune-up in a singles setting prior to his main event at WrestleMania. No opponent has been announced, but it would make sense for him to defend against someone that he could make quick work of.
