Two WWE NXT Stars Set For Main Roster Debut In Near Future

Two of WWE's most recent signees may be poised to become main roster stars.

According to Dave Meltzer and the Wrestling Observer, two of WWE€™s most recent signees are likely to be called up to the main roster soon. Both Hideo Itami and Finn Bálor are expected to be the next NXT superstars to debut on WWE€™s main programming. Meltzer claims that Bálor €œwasn€™t brought in to spend three years€ working in NXT. Furthermore, WWE reportedly wants Itami on the main roster soon due to his star power in Japan. It€™s unlikely that either competitor will be called up in the coming months, but Meltzer stated that Bálor and Itami will likely debut on WWE programming €œbefore 90% or 95% of the talent in NXT.€ WWE is seemingly very high on both superstars and if all goes well, both Bálor and Itami have a great opportunity for a very bright future. Itami debuted strongly at Takeover II: Fatal 4-Way. Meanwhile, Bálor debuted during a recent NXT taping, joining Itami in his burgeoning feud with the Ascension. Furthermore, Itami had previously made it clear to WWE officials that he took no issue with having to compete in the NXT developmental territory. Supposedly, he wants to take his time to adapt to the so-called WWE style and improve his English. Hopefully, WWE doesn€™t bring Itami up too soon, as it could be detrimental to his career moving forward. Fans will have to wait and see what comes of this news, as well as the imminent main roster debuts of both Hideo Itami and Finn Bálor. While neither man is expected to be called up immediately, it seems likely that Itami and Bálor will not spend an extended period of time in NXT -- potentially leap-frogging over stars like Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville. Do you think it would be wise to call up Hideo Itami and Finn Bálor sooner rather than later? Let us know your thoughts on both superstars and their forthcoming main roster debuts in the comments below.
