Tyson Fury Wants To Join WWE?

Controversial boxing World Champion would fit right in with pro wrestling.

Tyson Fury wants to join the WWE, Dave Meltzer has reported on Wrestling Observer Radio. The controversial boxing World Heavyweight Champion has said in the past that he'd like to have a run with pro wrestling's leading company, telling The Sports Bible earlier this year that "I might make a debut in WWE, don't rule that out." He'd certainly fit in with Vince McMahon's circus. He's infamous for having a colourful character, and his near seven foot height is the ideal look for WWE. McMahon would no doubt see money in the heavyweight physicality and fiery personality. Fury has also teased the idea of fighting UFC's Cain Velasquez, but any serious talk of MMA or WWE is limited. The 27 year old is only just hitting his peak in boxing, having recently defeated the legendary Wladimir Klitschko for the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO and The Ring Heavyweight titles. A rematch is already pencilled in for 2016. As a young and undefeated boxing champion, Fury has many years ahead of him as a top drawing boxing star. Whether WWE would be interested in having him feature in the future, only time will tell. McMahon did promote Mike Tyson appearances in the nineties, and tried to book a Lennox Lewis versus Brock Lesnar fight in 2002. There was also the Floyd Mayweather versus Big Show match in 2008.
