The Undertaker Added To WWE WrestleMania 31 Advertising

Will The Undertaker return at WrestleMania 31?

The Undertaker is now being used on advertising for WWE's WrestleMania 31. One of WWE's tour buses at Saturday's live event in Augusta, Georgia had Undertaker next to the Mania 31 logo. A fan spotted it in the arena parking lot and posted the above photo on Twitter. This is being viewed as an encouraging sign for fans who want to see the Deadman at the March 29th event. However, his likeness on the advertising doesn't guarantee anything. There's a chance that The Undertaker won't be appearing at all. If he does appear, it could just be as a character, as WrestleMania 30 seemed to indicate his active in-ring retirement. At 49 years of age, The Undertaker is physically worn down. Vince McMahon booked him to lose the 21 year Mania streak to Brock Lesnar at Mania 30, with the view that Taker was probably finished as a wrestler. The match itself was an astounding disappointment, and Taker really did look old and past it - although it later transpired that he'd suffered a concussion. Despite the apparent "end of an era", there was never any formal announcement about Undertaker retiring. Many fans are hoping that means Taker will be competing next year. If he is to work, it is around about this time of year that the decision gets made. Perhaps the likeness on the tour bus is a clue as to what that decision was. On the other hand, WCW Icon Sting starting a feud with Triple H at Survivor Series was an indication that Taker won't be returning. The obvious choice for Undertaker was a match against Sting at Mania, but it looks certain that it will be Triple H vs Sting on the big night.
