Update On Ronda Rousey's Next WWE Feud

What next for the new Raw Women's Champion?

Though Ronda Rousey defeated Alexa Bliss to become Raw Women's Champion at SummerSlam 2018, this week's Raw offered little indication of what's next, as she focused her aggression on a snivelling Stephanie McMahon during an Evolution hype segment.

An MMA Horsewomen vs. WWE Horsewomen programme (with Rousey presumably captaining her allies against a Charlotte Flair-led team) had been rumoured for Survivor Series. Dave Meltzer has since poured cold water on this, however, noting that it may come too early for Performance Center newcomers Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.

Fortunately, Cageside Seats reckon they have the answering, noting that WWE plan on pulling on the trigger on the long rumoured Rousey vs. Natalya programme sooner rather than later.

Nattie was ringside for Rousey's grand SummerSlam victory, having been a virtual ever-present alongside the former UFC Champion up to that point. She recently returned to the road after taking a few weeks off following her father's passing, and while her turning heel was pegged a long time ago, doing it so soon after a personal tragedy raises a lot of questions.

Whatever the case, let's hope WWE give a clearer indication of their Raw Women's Title plans on next week's show.
