Update On Sting's WWE Return For SummerSlam

He'll be there at SummerSlam, but it might be a few weeks.

The return of Sting to WWE programming didn't happen on Raw on Monday, but he's still scheduled to be a part of SummerSlam. According to the Wrestling Observer, the plan is for Sting to be brought into the storyline with the Wyatt Family "late in the game" meaning it might be two or three weeks until he appears on Raw. It's also because if he came back on Raw this week he would have been lost in the shuffle with the Lesnar/Undertaker craziness. Since there's five weeks between Battleground and SummerSlam, there's plenty of time to get Sting into the mix. This week's Raw saw Dean Ambrose come to the aid of his buddy Roman Reigns to help him from a vicious attack from Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. Their segment on Raw ended with Ambrose and Reigns standing tall while Wyatt and Harper escaped through the crowd. The plan for the story, according to both the Wrestling Observer and PWInsider, was for Sting to team with Reigns against Wyatt and Harper. Since Ambrose was involved on Raw, it's likely that it will be a six man tag although the third man on Wyatt's team is not known at this time. If Erick Rowan wasn't out with a torn biceps then he would be the third man.
The rumour for the third man on Wyatt's team is that it might be Bo Dallas, who is the real life brother of Wyatt, although really that's just something people are thinking because Dallas has nothing going on. A gimmick change could help his career significantly. What's most likely to happen is that next week Wyatt will introduce somebody to be on his team, they will beat down Reigns and Ambrose while the announcers will wonder if anybody will help them. Then the week after that, Sting can show up to help Reigns and Ambrose leading to the six man tag at SummerSlam.
