Vince McMahon Takes WWE Creative Control After Ratings Slump

McMahon said to be "micro-managing" his company to get WWE out of a rut.

With WWE Raw ratings hitting deeply disturbing record lows with each passing week, Vince McMahon is said to be responding by taking more of a "hands-on" approach to creative. PWInsider reports that McMahon was responsible for all the creative decisions at Saturday night's WWE live Network special from Madison Square Garden and although Triple H was backstage, it was McMahon firmly calling all the shots. It's being reported that whenever WWE creative comes up with new ideas, the response from officials is usually "we'll have to check with Vince" or "see if Vince likes it". In other words, all decisions are going through him more than they usually would as McMahon attempts to micro-manage his company out of the TV ratings slump they've found themselves in. After a series of lacklustre matches and incredibly peculiar booking last week, it will be interesting to see what Vince and WWE creative have in store for us tonight. As we reported earlier, an angle involving Brock Lesnar calling out The Undertaker could be booked tonight as WWE are desperate to change their downturn in viewership. Raw tonight comes from Boston, Massachusetts.
