7. Brock Lesnar Got Him Into Wrestling

Unlike most who get into the wrestling world, Noam Dar didn't watch professional wrestling from a young age. This wasn't because he didn't want to, more because of a total lack of accessibility due to SKY's monopoly on cable in the UK. He was certainly aware of it due to the chit-chat at school, but Dar admits that he didn't think it would be his cup of tea.

Well, leave it to Brock Lesnar to change all of that. Whilst hanging around at a friends house, Dar and chums watched SmackDown and the first segment Noam saw was Brock Lesnar wrecking Team Angle all over the shop. Needless to say, the boy was hooked. He went home, convinced his father to get SKY, and the rest is history.

What price Brock Lesnar vs. Noam Dar one day?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
