What Brock Lesnar Said After WWE Raw Went Off The Air

Some rare comments from The Beast.

Following this week's edition of WWE Monday night Raw, Brock Lesnar was in the ring selling the effects of being on the receiving end of a Tombstone Piledriver from The Undertaker. After the cameras stopped rolling, Lesnar did a promo for the fans in Minneapolis, who had just given him a huge hometown welcome in the main event segment. "I have to take a knee, Undertaker. Good one tonight buddy. I don't know what to say but thank you all very much. This Sunday at SummerSlam, Undertaker it will be your last ride. And where are we going to go?" After he asked the question, the crowd yelled "Suplex City" and cheered him as he went to the back. Lesnar has barely spoken on WWE TV this year, so it was a nice treat from his hometown crowd to hear from him like that. There was a tag team match advertised as the dark match, but it didn't take place. Over the last few weeks, that sort of thing has happened a few times. Typically, WWE wants to send the fans home happy after a long night, but in this case they must have felt it was fine to just end it with a short Lesnar promo thanking the fans. After the show was over, Lesnar flew to Connecticut to ESPN headquarters for appearances on Sportscenter and other shows that was previously covered here.
