Will John Cena Appear On WWE'S TLC PPV Tonight & Be Attacked By Kane?

Extremely conspicuous by his absence on tonight's WWE TLC pay-per-view card is John Cena.

Extremely conspicuous by his absence on tonight's WWE TLC pay-per-view card is John Cena. The poster child of the company, often the guy who main events or is put in the title frame for at least 90% of the year's PPV events, does not currently have a match scheduled for tonight and is not being advertised for the show at all. He is not, as far as we aware, injured or sick or anything that would keep him away from the show... so it all feels really strange. John Cena has been actively telling his fans on Twitter NOT to expect him on the show at all. He wrote about his plans for Sunday;

€œOn plane headed to ryder country. Long island tonight and then ordering ppv TLC tomorrow. Will be a bit different watching but I am excited € I will be in philly but I gave my ppv chance to someone who deserves it. I would do it again if I had the chance€
Have WWE decided to give Cena a night off or is he to make a surprise appearance tonight? Or perhaps even shoot an angle at Cena's home where Kane gives him a home invasion, setting up their feud which looks like it might keep him busy until The Rock and the few weeks before Wrestlemania 28? If you recall last week's Slammy edition of RAW ended with the return of Kane choke-slamming the life out of Cena at the end of the show and Cena was also featured in Kane's tormented promo videos for his 'Resurrection', signifying the superstar as the target of his anger.
